Anti-CCP Group Hits Harris for “Opening the Door to China” in Six-Figure, Presidential TV Ad to Run During the Debate
Spot Will Run in Seven Major Battleground States and Calls for Safeguarding America’s Manufacturing, Food Supply, and Border from the CCP
The Protecting America Initiative, a nonprofit organization focused on safeguarding the nation from Communist China’s growing influence in the states, today released a six-figure TV ad that will air during the Trump-Harris Presidential Debate on Tuesday. The 30-second spot exposes Harris for her role in helping China “hold our auto industry hostage” and Tim Walz for being under investigation for his “close ties” to the CCP. At the end of the ad, Americans are encouraged to fight back against the Harris-Walz agenda to safeguard our manufacturing, food supply, and border from the CCP.
The ad will run in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Harris casting the tie breaking vote in support of the Inflation Reduction Act is specifically mentioned in the spot, as well as the new Biden-Harris rule that loosens provisions in the IRA that bar credit eligibility for vehicles whose batteries contain materials from China.

BACKGROUND:
The Protecting America Initiative is a conservative nonprofit organization that supports state lawmakers in their effort to crack down on the growing threat of the Communist Chinese Party as they attempt to exert control over America’s economy, food supply, lawmaking, and education.
The group is led by Richard Grenell, former Ambassador to Germany and Acting Director of National Intelligence in the Trump Administration, and Lee Zeldin, former New York congressman and gubernatorial candidate.
