Anti-CCP Group Releases Federal Policy Blueprint to Curb CCP Influence in America
Model Policy Focuses on Strengthening Border Security, Food Security, Energy Dominance, National Security Technology, Fair Trade, and American Manufacturing
WASHINGTON — The Protecting America Initiative (PAI), a coalition of concerned Americans and public policy experts dedicated to combating the growing influence of Communist China in the United States, today announced the group’s continued expansion to the federal level with a new policy blueprint that federal lawmakers can use to further protect the United States from the threat of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
PAI was created in the spring of 2024 to help elected officials combat the CCP at the state level, but after a string of successes in state capitols across the country and the election of President Trump, the group is now working to support the Trump administration and members of Congress as they strive to enact policies to deter CCP influence at the federal level. The release of this policy blueprint is the group’s first major federal initiative and follows polling it conducted last month showing GOP voters are extremely concerned about recent nefarious action taken by Chinese government and companies to influence the United States.
Senior Advisor to Protecting America Initiative and Special Envoy Richard Grenell made the following statement about this new effort:
“The Trump Administration has always taken the threat of Communist China seriously. It is important that we all work together to stop the CCP in their pursuit to control our food supply, our education system, national security, and all aspects of American life. The Protecting America Initiative is committed to promoting a robust policy agenda that prevents foreign adversaries like China from undermining America’s strength and security.”
PAI Senior Advisor and Former Acting U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Chad Wolf also commented:
“Legislators in Washington have a duty to enact policies that protect our nation from the CCP’s growing influence. From trade to national security, we must take a firm stance, and we can trust President Trump to do just that. The Protecting America Initiative stands ready to work with President Trump and Congress to stop Communist China’s threat to our country.”
PAI will advocate for the Trump administration and Congress to enact policies focused on the following six priority issues:

BACKGROUND:
The Protecting America Initiative recently released polling that outlined how GOP voters are extremely worried about the threat of the CCP and would support a lawmaker less if they voted to outsource our food supply to China. Earlier this month, PAI launched a major digital ad campaign supporting President Trump’s tariffs on China for their role in the drug crisis that cost countless American lives. PAI recently released a multistate ad calling on Republican state legislators to support President Trump’s agenda by taking action against the urgent threat that Communist China poses to American agriculture. During the 2024 Presidential Debate, PAI ran a six-figure ad spot across the seven major battleground states calling to safeguard American manufacturing, food supply, and Border from the CCP and hitting Kamala Harris for “opening the door to China.”PAI hosted President Donald J. Trump in September at a roundtable with Pennsylvania farmers on the need to combat the growing influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on America’s agriculture industry and food supply.
