President Trump Joins Protecting America Initiative Roundtable in Western Pennsylvania on Protecting America’s Food Supply from China
SMITHTON, Penn. — President Donald J. Trump today traveled to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania to participate in a roundtable with the Protecting America Initiative on the need to combat the growing influence of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on America’s agriculture industry and food supply.
The event was hosted by the Protecting America Initiative senior advisors: former Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell and former U.S. Representative Lee Zeldin and featured numerous Pennsylvania farmers who discussed with President Trump the harmful impact China is having on American agriculture.

Lee Zeldin, PAI Senior Advisor and former US Congressman from New York, said: “America's food supply and the farmland that enables it is critical to our national security... that is why we need President Trump back in the White House.”
Richard Grenell, PAI Senior Advisory and former Acting Director of National Intelligence, said: 'For the past four years the Democrat-controlled White House has been distracted by wars and China is getting into our farmland. We have to be able to see China very clearly.”
President Donald Trump said: "Nobody's done for farmers what I've done,” and continued by saying “We’re going to protect [US land]... it’s causing a lot of disruption and that’s what [China] wants to do.”
Dave McCormick, Senate Candidate, said: "China is our adversary, smells weakness in all of its relationships with the United States because of the weak policies of Harris, Biden and Bob Casey."

Background
The Protecting America Initiative is a conservative nonprofit organization that supports policies at the state and federal level that crack down on the growing threat of the Communist Chinese Party as they attempt to exert control over America’s economy, food supply, lawmaking, and education. The group is led by Richard Grenell, former Ambassador to Germany and Acting Director of National Intelligence in the Trump Administration, and Lee Zeldin, former New York congressman and gubernatorial candidate.
Protecting America Initiative recently released an ad that ran during the September presidential debate that exposed Kamala Harris for her role in helping China “hold our auto industry hostage” and Tim Walz for being under investigation for his “close ties” to the CCP.
